Gourmet Wine Travel GmbH is a newly founded company in Uster,  providing Gourmet Wine Group Tours to different  destinations inside and outside of Switzerland. As Japanese Customers are a very important customer group, Gourmet  Wine Travel GmbH will take a high effort to attract these  clients participating in these group travels. Espec ially  Switzerland is a very attractive destination for Japanese  People. We will immediately need a  

Marketing & Sales Manager Japan 60 - 100% 

taking care of the Japanese Customers  Duties and responsibilities: 

- Translating travel programs, website and other documents  into Japanese language 
- Responsible for all contents in Japanese of the company  website 
- Support of creating new travel programs for Japanese  Customers 
- Helping and advising especially Japanese customers in  selecting the right wine travel that well suit their personal  interests, and closing deals 
- Arranging the means of travel and transportation for the groups 
- Booking flight tickets for the customers, if demanded by the  customer
- Arranging stay accommodations for the customers before and after the group tours, if demanded by thecustomer 
- Control payments from the customers and other
important  documents needed to verify their identity before they travel 
- Generall business development tasks 
- Travelling 1–2 times per year to Japan for Promotion Tours 


Qualifications: 

- Good oral and verbal communication skills as well  as written  skills 
- Fluency in English and Japanese (mother tongue or bilingual) 
- Excellent knowledge of marketing and business str ategies in  the travel industry 
- Proven work experience as a travel agent, at least 3 year 
- Experience in working as a Tour Guide 
- Knowledge of touristic places and their importance  
- Good knowledge of worldwide wines 
- Ability to negotiate and deal with the customers 
- Bachelor’s or an equivalent degree in any subject  or  preferable in tourism, business or marketing related field
